We take your business seriously and have designed a service that addresses the rapid response critical to you ensuring your recycling is collected in a timely manner and that the aesthetics of your shop front and or service lane are well maintained.

We work closely with Business and Council to ensure we balance the best service outcomes for our region and the CBD

Booking a collection

Generally speaking, we will always encourage clients to arrange a scheduled pick up, this allows us to prioritise their services and we route them in a sequence that provides regular service times, and peace of mind that we will pick up, if in the unlikley event your site is overseen.

For clients who remain on an on-call regime, you must call in before 10.00am on the day of the pickup. Our despatch team are able to track vehicles using leading-edge programmes such as Navman and Wasteedge and divert to your property. For calls received after 10.00am, your property will be scheduled for the following day; however, where possible we will attempt to service on the day.

Keep our streets tidy

For cardboard clients who are situated within the CBD map as shown below, please ensure you familiarise yourself with the cardboard and blue rubbish bag drop points in town.

Please note: these sites may alter at the discretion of the Queenstown Lakes District Council. We will endeavour to inform you where changes are made.

What signs do I look out for, to place my cardboard?

Currently, there are A4 sized signs in place as per the map above, these will be situated on posts or suitable fixtures nearest the designated drop zones.

An example of the sign is shown below
