Gibbston Food & Wine Festival 2017

Over the past seven years we have been involved with the Gibbston Food and Wine festival. As a sponsor we provide the vast majority of our waste management services free of charge as a thank you to all our loyal Gibbston clients. This year, for the first time we introduced full glass recycling for the vendors, this involved all the stands, whom had access to glass bins, this allowed us to recover the glass and to return it back into bottles. Additional to the glass services, we also introduced tidier, higher visibilty bin sleeves which are easier to view and stand out, ultimately making it more conveniant to use the correct bins. Can you believe we are nearly a quarter of the way through 2017 already? It has been a frantic start to the year and we have been working tirelessly trying to put in place systems to launch the new Soft Plastics programme in Queenstown and Wanaka. It was with great pleasure that we have been able to work closely with the Packaging forum/Love NZ and Replas Australia to fast track the programme into the Queenstown Lakes district.
